Adalyn celebrated her one month birthday on Friday with a doctor's visit, lunch with Grandma Bev who turned 75 the same day, and an afternoon with Oma while Mom worked. The doctor's visit went great. She's healthy and strong according to the doctor and gained over a pound in 16 days! She now weighs 8 lbs 6 ounces! There was no change in length. I think all the weight went to her cheeks. She definitely has cheeks like her mom.
Check her out in her party dress:

Newest Beaver Fan
The OSU Beavers have a new fan:
She does a little dance when they win:
And she gets REALLY mad when they lose:
Go Beavers! (Please try to keep your littlest fan happy this season!)

Update
Sorry I haven't been on here in awhile. It seems I have something else consuming most of my time these days! :) I am getting much better at typing one-handed though! Anyway, I thought I'd just give a quick little update before the Little Miss decides it's time to eat again.
We are all doing great! We've established a pretty good routine and everyone is able to get a fair amount of sleep. Adalyn is a very good baby. She sleeps well and rarely fusses. Adam went back to work last week and I worked a half day yesterday. (The baby went with me.) I'll probably work a few hours here and there this week and next then start back to some sort of part time schedule after that.
We both had our 2 week follow-up appointments today. Adalyn is growing like a champ! At her first appointment she weighed 6 lbs 3 oz and was 19 inches long. (It's normal for them to lose weight at first - as far as the lost 1/2 inch in length, I don't know about that.) Apparently she was in the 3rd percentile for weight at that time. The goal for the two week appointment is for them to be back to birth weight. She was and then some! She weighed 7 lbs 2 oz today and measured 20.75 inches long! She's now in the 15th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for length. We were very happy! All other exams were normal.
Everything checked out great at my appointment too. My incision is healing well and everything else is right on track like it should be. So, the Tolmans are happy and healthy! We sure are enjoying our new little one!
I thought I'd end the post with a handful of random photos. Enjoy!
This is Miss Adalyn in her Moby wrap. She seems to like it and it gives me both hands to use. It works well at work too!
This is what I call her 'milk drunk' look:
She doesn't like baths much:
But, she loves to eat:
This is what she looks like when she's being burped:
And this is how she looks when Dad is being mean:
We tried to capture the fuzzy red hair in the sunlight (if you click on the photo, you can see in more detail):
