Preparing to Celebrate
We held a little photo shoot in late July in the attempt to capture the perfect photo for Adalyn's first Birthday invitations. I think we achieved the goal:

Since Last Time
Time to catch up again!
We flew to Las Vegas July 22nd for our drug wholesaler's annual convention. It was Adalyn's first time flying and she did great! She played quietly and slept and didn't seem bothered by any of it! As usual, the fabulous Echo Marie acted as our personal chauffeur and picked us up from the airport. She also took on a new role as babysitter and watched Adalyn in our hotel room while we attended the conference. Adalyn LOVED her Auntie E! Lately, it's been taking her a while to warm up to people, but not to Echo! They were buds right away. It was SO good to see our dear friend and to finally introduce her to The Tootska. The flight home was equally uneventful and we were thankful to have such a good baby. It was a quick, but great little getaway.
The following weekend we went camping in Unity with Roger, Carol, Collin, and Wesley. The dogs even came with us! We had a fantastic weekend! We rode bikes, took walks with the stroller, and even caught a few trout. The weather was beautiful (much cooler than in Vale) and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
