We'll start at the beginning, that's always a good place to start.
Adam and I began dating my sophomore (his junior) year of high school. After graduating high school, he headed to Oregon State University and I met up with him there the following year. We each earned our Bachelor of Science degrees in 2005, his in Business and mine in Science. I stayed in western Oregon a few more years to finish up my Doctorate of Pharmacy from OHSU/OSU while he returned home to start learning the ropes of his family's business, our small town's drug store.
We bought our first home in 2006 and renovated the entire thing ourselves. (Well, Adam did the majority of the work, but I supervised.) I began working at Malheur Drug (the family business) as a Pharmacist in 2008, and later that summer we were married. The following summer, Adam launched his teriyaki sauce business, Yoshio's Teriyaki Sauces which continues to grow.
In August 2010, our family grew by two feet with the addition of Adalyn Akiko, who is the reason this blog was started. Since then we've been adjusting to life with a little one, and enjoying all the adventures that she brings!
In August 2012, we found out we would be welcoming another member to the Tolman family; Tolman Baby #2! We can hardly wait to meet him or her!
