Playing With Picnik

I couldn't keep my eyes off of the photos we just had done, so I found myself sucked into Picnik.com while Adalyn napped this afternoon. Here's some of what I did:

Family Photos

This last weekend, my high school friend Alishia took some family photos for us. They turned out beautifully! (Just as all of Alishia's photos do.) If you have some extra time, you should take a look at her blog. She features some of her best photos there. Not only is Alishia a great photographer, but she is an AMAZING photo editor. I just love what she did with some of the shots of us. Thank you so much Alishia, for your professionalism in the shoot, but also for the personalization you put on each photo! We had a lot of fun!

I withheld the top contenders for Christmas Card Photo so there will be at least one surprise. :)

Pumpkin Patch

On Sunday, we attended "Rocco's Pumpkin Patch Party" and had SO MUCH FUN! Rocco is about 3 weeks younger than Adalyn. His mom and I were on dance team together in high school and now the kiddos go to the same babysitter's house. Needless to say, the two of them will probably be spending some time together as they grow up.

Rocco's family has a farm and his grandpa planted a pumpkin patch for him at the end of one of the fields. We were invited to go for treats and to pick pumpkins, but didn't know exactly what to expect. Boy, were we pleasantly surprised! We were treated to cookies, cake, bread, and cider, a hay ride, and the pick of any pumpkins we wanted! It had been raining hard earlier that morning, so we bundled up and wore our old shoes. We had a great time!

A Few That I Missed

I haven't posted much lately, because I haven't taken many photos lately. Adalyn makes it nearly impossible for me to take pictures of her because she runs to me as soon as she sees I have the camera and wants to play with it. But, I was looking back at my pictures and realized I do have a few that I haven't shared yet.
