Wednesday morning we did the 5k Fun Run and Lion's Breakfast and that afternoon we watched the parade. Grandma Bev even joined us!
We spent lots of time at Bully Creek sitting around, resting, riding bikes, swimming, throwing rocks into the water, and roasting marshmallows. Adalyn quickly warmed up to "Auntie Kinnie!"
Friday afternoon, my other BFF from pharmacy school, Shan, drove down from Baker City. The three of us girls went to the rodeo that evening and had fun exposing Kimmie to the small town life.
Saturday morning we were up early to decorate Adalyn's stick horse, Roxie. Auntie Shan quickly won Adalyn over by being her own personal jungle-gym.
We then headed back to town for the dog show and stick horse rodeo. Adalyn took part in the "Take the flag off the goat's tail" event, but tuckered out before she could do the other events. She sure looked good!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 4th of July celebrations! It was fun introducing Adalyn to her "Aunties" and spending time with the people who mean the most to us.
