True Blue Fan

You've heard of fair weather fans? People who love a team only when they're doing well? Well, a fair weather fan Adalyn is not! She'll stand by her Beavers no matter what. (Thanks for the pjs Angie!)

Mr. Mom

Ad stayed home with Adalyn today. When I got home, the house was clean, the grocery shopping had been done, and dinner was just about finished. The baby's diaper was clean, she was full, she was happy, and she was even dressed in an outfit that matched. I was SO impressed. This is how I found her:

Rolled Over!

Adalyn rolled over last night! I had put her on her tummy and had just gotten her arms situated underneath her when next thing I knew, she was on her back! (I think it was more of a balance issue than anything, but I'm still counting it!) Way to go Adalyn!

Picnik.com

I recently discovered a photo-editing website called picnik. I don't have Photoshop on my computer and I'm not sure I'd know how to use it if I did, so I've been using Picnik instead. It's easy to use and a lot of fun. In fact, I think it may become addicting. Here's what I did tonight (see original in previous post).

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas . . .

Every time I call my mom, she answers the phone singing, "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..." and that's because there's been snow on the ground here since Thanksgiving. It snowed all day and night yesterday and finally let up mid-day today, leaving about 12 inches covering everything. It's beautiful! I keep saying, "But it's only the 1st of December...it's going to be a long winter!" One of our customers was saying it reminds her of the Winter of '85 when they didn't see bare ground between Thanksgiving and the 1st of May!

So, I guess the snow has inspired us to get into the Christmas spirit. We put up our inside Christmas decorations Sunday, including the tree. Adalyn helped. The outside lights will go up as soon as the weather permits it. (I suppose at this rate, it could be May.) And, we've even started on our Christmas shopping! I don't think I've ever been started on Christmas this early. It's fun!

Santa and Mrs. Clause visited the drugstore today for pictures. Adalyn wore her new dress from Aunt Karen. (Thanks Aunt Karen!!)
