The belly at 30 weeks
We have one particularly cantankerous patient who I've grown very fond of. He's around 90 years old or so. He's usually pretty feisty. I hadn't seen him in awhile until today. I told him he was looking good. His response in his best grumpy old man voice was:
"Flattery never got you anywhere! You're putting on weight!"
And then with a slight smile and a twinkle in his eye he says, "But it'll go away."
Totally made my day. :)
