Where does the time go?!

So, is it bad when you have to pull out the calendar to remember everything you've done in the past 6 weeks? It seems like all of my posts start this way, but we've been SO busy! It's crazy!

June 9th-12th: Carol, Adalyn, and I drove to Seaside, Oregon for a P.E.O. conference that I attended. We spent about 11 hours in the car each way which is a LONG time for anybody, especially a 10 month old! She was a trooper though and we had a fun time! Thank goodness Grandma Carol was there! The hotel we stayed in had a pool, so Adalyn got to go swimming for the first time. She thought it was okay; she wasn't overly thrilled, but didn't hate it either. She was ready to get out after about 10 minutes.

The following weekend we visited McCall, Idaho with Roger, Carol, and Collin to celebrate Father's Day. It felt so good to have the whole family together like that! We relaxed, watched 1000s of hours of Star Wars (much to my dismay), went shopping, went fishing, ate lots of good food, and had a fun time.

We came home Sunday in time to celebrate Father's Day with my dad. My uncle Kris and his family were visiting so we got to spend some time with them too!

The next weekend we spent a lot of time at the drug store setting up the new computer system and preparing to "Go Live" with it the following Monday.

The weekend of the 4th of July was my 10 year class reunion! I was one of the people who helped put it together so as you can imagine, I was busy running last minute errands and helping ensure that everything went as planned. It was fun! We had a decent turn-out; probably 25 to 30 different classmates over the course of two days. It was fun to see how much everyone has changed, hear what they've been up to, and to meet their kids.

The Tolmans camped at Bully Creek that weekend, so we spent some time with them at their campsite. Adalyn loves her grandparents and has particularly taken a liking to her Grandpa Roger! (Maybe it has something to do with the homemade ice cream he gave her?)

On top of all of this, we've been working long hours at the drug store because of the new computer system and I'm putting in 10-12 hours per month providing Consultant Pharmacist services to the local nursing home. I'm also serving as President of our local chapter of P.E.O.. Adam keeps busy with with yard work and his "projects"; the latest of which is building a workshop out back.
